Services

We offer all types of servicing for your Porsche from a basic oil and filter change to a full major service and any minor services in between. What’s included in these different services depends on your model of Porsche. You can check out our Porsche menu pricing page for further details.

As well as the actual service we are fully equipped to handle all the additional service needs such as brake fluid changes, tyres, coolant changes, auxiliary belt replacement, tiptronic gearbox servicing, gearbox and diff oil changes. We have been approved by the Porsche Partner Network (PPN) to access and update service and repairs to the online Porsche Network.

All faults will be documented along with costs and as a duty of care we will advise the priority of any work required.

We have the skills and tooling on hand to diagnose faults and to carry out repair work (including full strip and rebuilds to all Porsche models early to late). As well as engine work carried out to cure specific problems, or to refresh as part of a restoration project, we can also upgrade your engine with stronger parts so it is safe to take any extra power you may require for racing etc.

Porsche Specialist Services can install the up-rated intermediate shaft (IMS) bearings to future proof your Boxster, Cayman, 996 and 997 engines. We can rebuild any engines from these models that have suffered from the bore score issue that is so well known within the Porsche world. There are also a couple of modifications we can offer to further assist with any overheating issues such as low temp thermostats and additional radiators.

For the air-cooled engines we offer a top end rebuild which would include striping the cam housings, heads and barrels/piston assemblies. All components are inspected for damage and wear and any defects reported with costing. The engines are then reassembled with all new gaskets, seals, chain guides and head studs as well as adjusting the valve spring heights, setting the chain run outs and valve overlap etc. In addition, we can also carry out a bottom end rebuild which includes fully stripping the crankcase and inspecting crankshaft, IMS, oil pump, con rods and the crank casings themselves. Upon refitting components new main, big end and IMS bearings are fitted along with new timing chains and all new seals and gaskets as required.

If your Porsche requires any restoration work we can offer various mechanical options such as brake/steering/suspension overhauls and engine/ gearbox rebuilds to a full nut and bolt restoration.

Porsche Specialist Services have all the skills and equipment required to diagnose, repair and replace all suspension components fitted to Porsche cars. In addition to standard replacement, we can also install and set up performance, sports or race application suspension kits and bushes. All suspension work is recommended to have an accurate 4 wheel alignment carried out to ensure your Porsche is performing as expected. This is also carried out in house here in our workshop.
